As a southerner, sweet tea is my beverage of choice. Being on the keto diet, at 50 net carbs in an 8-ounce glass, normal sweet tea just isn’t an option. (It’s hard to imagine I used to go through at least 250 carbs worth of sweet tea a day!) Nor is unsweet tea with Splenda or Sweet-n-Low or Equal packets — ick!
This particular recipe comes from Truvia’s website. With 9 net carbs per 8-ounce serving, you should definitely go sparingly on it. But it’s great if you need a sweet tea fix!

Ingredients
Water
1 cup ice
5 black tea bags
2½ tablespoons Truvia
Instructions
First, start a kettle of water.
Remove the tea bags from their bags (slip the string out of the staple holding it to the paper flap, too) and tie them up. Place them and the Truvia in the bottom of your pitcher. (Truvia wasn’t added in the picture.)
Once the water starts to boil, empty it into the pitcher. Be very careful not to bust your tea bags during this — I use a slatted spoon to shield them. Then, stir everything so the Truvia dissolves.
Let everything steep for about 5 minutes.
Remove your tea bags and discard.
Put in ice and fill with cold water. Stir!
Place in refrigerator to cool.
